Information stored on your device
World Cities does not require registration, login or a developer-operated account.
Game progress, settings, question allowance and Full Game purchase status may be stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage and security facilities. This information is used to operate the game and is not transmitted to a database operated by the developer.
The developer does not operate an analytics service or user-profile database for World Cities.
Advertising
World Cities uses Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded advertisements. After the initial free question allowance has been used, players may choose to watch an advertisement to receive additional questions.
Players may instead make a one-off in-app purchase to unlock the Full Game. This provides unlimited access to all questions without advertisements. There is no subscription.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s advertising partners may process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device or advertising identifiers;
- advertisements viewed and interactions with advertisements;
- app launches, taps, video views and other app interactions;
- crash information, diagnostics and performance information.
This information may be used for advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security and service performance.
Where required, the app presents advertising consent and privacy choices before requesting advertisements. The app also uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency system to request permission before tracking is allowed. Refusing tracking permission does not prevent use of the app, although non-personalised or limited advertisements may still be available.

Apple services
In-app purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple. The developer does not receive or store payment-card or banking information.
World Cities uses Apple Game Center to submit scores and display worldwide rankings and leaderboards. Game Center information is processed according to the user’s Apple and Game Center settings.
When a player uses the invitation feature, World Cities creates a message and App Store link and passes them to Apple’s sharing system. The player chooses the email, messaging or other sharing service. World Cities does not access or retain the selected recipient’s contact details.
For information about Apple’s handling of data, see the Apple Privacy Policy.
Support enquiries
Players may voluntarily submit their name, email address, subject and message through the World Cities support form.
This information is used only to respond to the enquiry, investigate a reported problem or provide requested assistance. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Support information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry and maintain appropriate support records. A user may request its correction or deletion through the support form.
The support form is provided through Wix, which may process submitted information and technical website information according to the Wix Privacy Policy.
Developer website
The World Cities developer website is hosted using Firebase Hosting. The developer has not added advertising, analytics or user accounts to that website.
Firebase, Wix and other hosting providers may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and server logs, to deliver, secure and maintain their services.
Children’s privacy
World Cities is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly request personal information from children through the app.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information through the support form, they may contact the developer using that form and request its deletion.
Sale of personal information
The developer does not sell personal information.
Third-party service providers may process information as described in this policy when providing advertising, App Store, Game Center, website-hosting or support services.
